Google Wave

I'm really excited about this one:

Google Wave is a new tool for communication and collaboration on the web, coming later this year. Watch the demo video below. It will come with an API similar to Google Maps and is being developed using the GWT (Google Web Toolkit), which - btw - rumours say - is currently also used by CA Development for the new CA Clarity PPM User Interface. This new UI may be part of the next major release of CA Clarity PPM.

  1. Klaus,

this new interface is going to be AJAX based. This means page won't refresh often and UI will be like Gmail or Wave kind of. So far so good but any idea if field level validations, form dependency checks are coming along with this too which is missing in Clarity for Loooooong time and considered to the most basic form of accepting 'correct' & 'proper' data from end user.

    Thanks
    Sangeet

  2. It's obviously going to take me a while to get my head around this clarity ppm thing, but this makes it a little easier. Thanks for sharing it.
